RR: "Heck, instead of PC Dickwad turning up mob-handed with 5 of his mates armed with batons and pepper spray, the Chief Constable would probably give you an award."

Almost enough to get one to vote in favor of defunding the police ... 😉🙂

Bur speaking of Starmer, you might be amused by this article in, of all places, the Washington Post on the UK Supreme Court ruling on that age-old question, "what is a woman?"

WP: "In the days since the ruling, leaders have executed screeching U-turns. Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who had declared that “trans women are women,” called it “a welcome step forward” for “real clarity.” "

Hard not to see that "trans women are women" as a real-world (?) case that tops Orwell's "2+2=5". Nice to see that at least your Supreme Court has put a wooden stake, and silver bullet through the heart of that Frankensteinian monstrosity.

Yeah, I think it will ultimately turn out to be a very important ruling. There's a lot of weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth from the usual suspects, along with the typical, erm, robust and pleasant language from the BKC (the be kind crew) but I suspect we'll see that any future judicial challenges to sense from the Gender Morons will fall, because of this ruling. And we'll also see judicial challenges to Gender Totalitarianism in various institutions succeed because of this ruling.

The usual "I'm not a lawyer" disclaimer here, and maybe I'm only just expressing a hope, but it really does feel like something's shifted and, finally, the gender loons are on the back high heel.

As some Brit of some repute once said, maybe not the beginning of the end, but certainly something of a resounding end to the beginning. 😉🙂

Curious phemenon in many ways, the roots of which go rather deep and with far-reaching consequences. Apropos of which, you in particular might like this post in the TransAtlantic on the Royal Society and mine on various governmental statistics departments -- Britain's, Canada's, and New Zealand's -- corrupted by gender ideology:

I appreciate your usual pisstaking style Professor, because what else do we have except mockery in the face of

such grotesque malfeasance by the agents of the state (see also Allison Pearson's visit from the plod, the people who complained about their school, also arrested by 6 cops and no doubt others).

This is monstrous, infuriating shit, and I'm not even British. I do however, have close connections to the UK. My wife is an Essex Girl (I know, I know 🙄) my family are from Somerset, and I'm related to Harry Patch, the last surviving Tommy from WWI. My Grandfather travelled all the way from Australia in 1916 to fight in those same trenches for two years while 2500 men from his battalion were slaughtered around him.

And now I'm actually dismayed that he went through all that, so that Starmer and his clown car of tyrannical imbeciles can stomp their dainty little feet on the faces of the great people of Britain. I shudder to think of the oaths that that fierce old man (fuck me he was a Tartar who had a way with words) would have uttered, if he could see what has happened to the country he suffered so much to defend.

I don't think Starmer has any idea about how he and his cabal of arse-licking toadies are viewed by the rest of the world as they refuse to investigate the muslim rape gangs while jailing people every day for mean tweets. "That dog whistle, that little trumpet", as one minister recently referred to thousand of British girls tortured, raped and eaten, FFS!

The country that created Western liberal democracy is now an international exemplar of What Not to Do. It will never regain its moral authority. When the UK government criticises Putin or whoever innthe future for some atrocity, they'll simply reply with "Piss off. Unlike you, we don't allow our girls to raped in their thousands by foreign savages". And they'd have a point.

It's a fucking shame, and I could weep from the frustration I feel.

It's hugely frustrating isn't it?

I don't know what else to do except to take the piss.

I personally think the police have, over the years, been given explicit (but not public) instructions to indulge in this kind of nonsense. It's very definitely two-tier because there's no consistency in application and whether you get a nod from plod depends quite critically on which ideology you support. Certain ideologies get a free pass for 'hatred' - and others get PC Dim and his 5 retarded mates showing up.

I think the approved way is separating semitism and zionism, the political movements for a Jewish ethno-state (as we apparently call nation states nowadays) that started in the 1800s, from Judaism the faith and the state of being of Jewish ethnicity and origin.

Because honestly, the way some Jews and Jewish groups have been using anti-semitism for 50+ years, I have very little sympathy left for them when they trot it out again and again to defend actions and opinions they otherwise decry as WrongBadEvil if a German (f.e.) performs them.

It's the same with negros crying racism because an ice cream is called Nogger Black.

And the way the Palestinian propaganda machine has been amped to act? They're - very succesfully - copying their fellow semites (since both Jews and Arabs are semites, originally).

Wouldn't it be so much easier to say:

"Bugger this for agame of soldiers, I'm insert-European-nationality-here and I'm not going to do any song and dance routine because of foreign foibles!"

instead of this endless "Oh mustn't say this, mustn't say that, and absolutely not the third thing either" where you wind up having said the wrong thing anyway, according to at least 1/3 of everyone no matter what.

This is my reply:

"This is my nation, this is my language, these are my words and if you being insert-foreign-orientation-here causes you have a problem with what I say, then just fuck off across the border sharpish!"

Yes - I think there's definitely an element where this is exploited. There does exist rampant antisemitism, but mere criticism of Israel isn't it (not automatically anyway). But it's useful for the Israeli state to claim any such criticism stems from antisemitism - which, of course, is nonsense. Some of it will be driven by that, certainly, but much won't. It's a nice deflection tool to have in your propaganda pocket when, as a state, you want to do some wicked stuff. And *all* states do wicked stuff - Israel is, in general, no better or worse than any other in that regard.

I like your reply. If you're here to enjoy our country, our way of life, to contribute etc - that's awesome. If you're here to moan and cause trouble and hate us - then you can just fuck right off.

Up until the 1970s-1990s, this was the gist of migration laws and policies in virtually all nations, although the legal text was of course more elaborate.

If we - all Westerners - could wrest policy back to that, and ante-date it to 1970 while we're at it, 99% of all migrant/migration-related problems goeas away, for everyone (not the least for the kind of migrants you'd appreciate moving in).

It really is no different from living in a collective. The guy who steals food, won't do his chores and never pays his share must be turned out on his arse, or the whole thing collapses in short order.
