I agree on all the red flags. At the start in all my innocence, I was really expecting the government to open up at the end of 3 weeks, and when they didn't then I thought surely they would as spring progressed into summer. And then I started following up odd links on the internet to interviews with the likes of Mike Yeadon and became a full blown sceptic. My most hated red flag was the one on mask, which from the start I refused to adhere to -it was difficult at the start not wear a mask, but it gradually became easier and now boldly walk round at work as the only person without one (I notice an email got circulated reminding staff about wearing masks last time I was in the building!). I hate masks so much that I cannot watch videos of things like choral evensong from Salsibury Cathedral as it angers me so much - just have to listen, as I enjoy the music and singing. Haven't been to church such it started whilst the CoE continues to worship wfalse gods.

Thanks for this which had me laughing in places, albeit on a serious topic.

The mask orders have been particularly cruel - especially for children. And wholly unnecessary. So often throughout this minor pandemic there has been a very effective one-word reply. And that word is "Sweden".

Sweden did not impose masks upon school children - the sky did not fall upon their Swedish heads did it?

Mention Sweden, however, and all you'll get in response is something like "mumble, mumble, Norway, mumble, mumble, Finland" - in others words the media-programmed response which completely misses the point.

Thanks for you encouragement. I do try to inject a little bit of humour (I'm trying to get better at it) because even in these very dark times it's still important to laugh - to remind ourselves about what life and being human is all about.

Sorry I hit the button, but wanted to tell you my first red flag was in March 2020 when Fauci practially pushed Trump away from the microphone to say oh HCQ no evidence, no randomized placebo controlled trial yada yada yada and all that dangerous stuff. Second was when he cancelled the NIH trial in early June 2020 for HCQ. Uh oh I thought. Cause I know unlike most people that Plaquenil is safe as houses. I'm a chronic Lyme sufferer. Was on it off and on for 3 years. Not a single side effect, safe as houses for me at least. I know some people can't take it (psioriasis patients I think and you have to do no more than 10 years on it or you might get macular degeneration). And I knew of it in Feb. from Dr. Didier Raoult, who is well known in France as an amazing doctor. Treats all kinds of African diseases, treated my friend with elephantis. Please keep going with your thoughts/commentary. I LIKE you, you make me laugh and think at the same time.

My favorite red flag was the scientific research paper that used fraudulent (made-up, non-existent!) data to show that hydroxychloroquinine (HCQ) was not effective, that it was actually killing patients. This paper caused HCQ to be banned and legitimate research to be stopped. The paper was retracted within 2 weeks, but the bans were not lifted and much of the research not restarted. A classic effective propaganda event; the data in the study came from somewhere, whoever created it knew it was bogus. Who created this fraud? Someone who benefited by not finding low-cost effective treatments for COVID.

🤔 Big Pharma? The same people that "proved," using "long term" studies, that the crap they distribute for covid use is "safe and effective."

Oh my! I think you have a new fan. I found your substack through my friend Mathew Crawford’s Round the Earth & plan to stick around for all your articles. Your sense of humor in the face of a brontosaurus is just what I needed.

Thank you - really very much appreciated

The sarcasm and humour are about the only things keeping me sane these days - and then only barely. The astonishing descent into absurdity, authoritarianism and (almost) barbarism in such a short time scale has been horrifying to witness. Most days, words fail me.

So many red flags that the matadors waving them will need to watch their asses for the rest of their lives; in prison or out. Goggles 'which countries have red flags'.

Loving the humour, thanks so much! Don’t know if you’ve seen it, but statistician Mathew Crawford faced Simpson head on and has also done an age-adjusted analysis on the ONS all-cause mortality data, showing very little difference between the jabbed an unjabbed. Well worth the read… https://roundingtheearth.substack.com/p/uk-data-shows-no-all-cause-mortality

Alex Berenson got jumped on for the same thing, but when you look at the age ranges broken out by the UK health data, there is no simpsons paradox. IN EVERY AGE GROUP the vaxxed are dying at rates higher than the unvaxxed. So give yourself a break on this one please.
