I’m still irritated by the idea that Grandma needs protecting. Grandma is a boomer and is going strong, wearing skinny jeans and going to yoga and talking about how much she has to live for in a sorry-not-sorry explanation for why her grandkids need to be masked and double vaxxed before she even considers seeing them in person. (And forget visiting great grandma in the nursing home, where she’s been living on death row for years anyway, slowly withering away with the other smelly decaying elders.)

Sorry, that got a little dark, but I think you started it RR by putting me mentally back in Covidtimes, where I was forced to acknowledge an increasingly narcissistic adult population largely willing to participate in child sacrifice. (And parent sacrifice if we count what happened to Great Granny.)

(And since I dearly hope to be a grandma myself one day, perhaps in skinny jeans attending yoga, I apologize to all grandmas out there whom I’ve mischaracterized as selfish harpies who latched onto the Covid lies with unnatural glee, as if the situation provided a welcome if belated opportunity to affirm their own relative importance in the grand scheme of things.)

Ivermectin is the nuclear power of the c19 scam. Nuclear energy is the ivermectin of the climate scam. The demonisation of readily available time tested low cost efficient solutions to the manufactured “problem“ evidence the true intentions of those running both scams, which are really one and the same.

I don't care if this coronavirus was brewed in a lab or not it was used to terrorise the public. I walked daily before during and after the covid debacle. During the panic I would go out on my walk and not one blue light ambulance passed me and all was quiet, pleasant and calm. During the insane vaccine drive I at one point had four or five blue light ambulances criss cross in different directions within 5 minutes of my walk. I did not have to look at TV or newspaper's to know when there was a vaccine drive I just counted the ambulances as they passed me.

Thank god for Sweden, the one clear light in an otherwise impenetrable fog. One thing that puzzled me from very early on was that Dominic Cummings, who I don’t think suffers from herd mentality and seems generally quite intelligent, was completely convinced from the outset that we were facing a global and cataclysmic disaster. Who told him and why was he persuaded?

Remember when DC was testifying to a parliamentary committee a year or two back, and went out of his way to mention what an absolute genius Bill Gates was, several times? Maybe that.

I did risk analysis at work for 40 years, and I saw through both the pandemic bullshit and the vaccine bullshit from day one.

The idea that they could develop vaccines using novel technology that were thoroughly yet rapidly tested and proven to be effective and safe in the short and long term is clearly utter nonsense, yet that is what was forced on us, and what everybody believed, as if they were incapable of thought.

I thought you'd have to be nuts to believe that crap, but, to my amazement, it came to the point that I was looked on as the conspiracy believing nutter, because I refused to be vaccinated. It was like living and working among deluded sheep, all bleating the same garbage in unison.

The one thing I've learned from this whole debacle is how easy it is to deceive and manipulate the masses. I reckon that a public campaign to control climate change by making people eat their own shit would almost certainly be very effective.

here in new zealand we were locked down so hard and for so long and while that happened we the lost the last vestiges of democracy. very gloomy vibes here ever since. fear and silence reign supreme.

We - as in our selected leaders - accidentally got it right, remember.

They wanted to play follow the leader, but couldn't for a smattering of domestic reasons ranging from lack of logistical ability to our laws explicitly stopping the kind of Covid-stuff you had to suffer through to the Socialist Democrat governement at the time tanking in the polls and 2022 being an eection year, and more.

Not to mention that the health care and nursing staff in the region where a version of "get vaxxed or get fired" was tried started quitting or calling in sick en masse before inception, and when superstores were told "max 500 customers at any one time" they simply put up partitioning walls and separate check-outs; legally speaking becoming multiple stores under the same roof thereby showing what a sham the whole thing was, or syrian and arab and assorted mid-eastern clans holding weddings and funeral with hundreds in attendance in open flagrant violation of regulations while police stood by andrefused to act, or swedish "raggare"* also openly defying the attempted regulations without police/prosecutors daring to act against them, and more of the same kind.

We may not be big on french-american style grandstanding protests here, but we're very deft in ignoring our rulers in such a ways they realise it'dcost them too much to enforce regulsations no-one agrees with.

"According to an estimate by one Swedish car restorer, there are more restored 1950s American cars in Sweden than in the entire United States and although only two 1958 Cadillac convertibles were sold in Sweden there are now 200 of them in Sweden. Between 4000 and 5000 classic US cars were at one point imported to Sweden each year."

Why? The WEF and UN have already laid out the plan...total digital slavery for all on earth except the "stakeholders". Which is not you and me. Therefore, to achieve this, they MUST KILL OFF 7.5 BILLION people...Quote: Today it is infinitely easier to kill a million people than to control a million people. [Emphasis added] Unquote.

HEre you go...citation: From 2008.

The speech from which Brzezinski's global awakening observation derives—titled "Major Foreign Policy Challenges for The New US Presidency" and delivered on November 17, 2008—was, like most of the RIIA's proceedings, not intended for the general public.

While the lethality of their power is greater than ever, their [the major powers'] capacity to impose control over the politically awakened masses of the world is at an historical low. I once put it rather pungently (and I was flattered that the British foreign secretary repeated this) as follows: namely, in earlier times it was easier to control a million people—literally, it was easier to control a million people than, physically, to kill a million people. Today it is infinitely easier to kill a million people than to control a million people. [Emphasis added]

I tell ya, Julie, it was the fault of the Decepticons ...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decepticon

At the very best, a serious case of overreaction. The thing is, it could have been much worse: 50 million dead in the Spanish flu of 1919 scales to 150 million in 2000.

What worries me is that we'll over(under)react in the opposite direction the next time. Whole species wiped out because we sent all the telephone sanitizers off to another galaxy -- far, far, away ... 😉🙂

There's at least one other major possibility for all this besides ignorance or malevolent cupidity that you didn't consider, though ; i.e., confusion. Ignorant people might not have the facts and therefore mess up by acting blindly. Malevolent people might have all the facts and ignore them because the facts get in the way of what they want to do to benefit themselves. Confused, poorly-functioning, randomly-acting people, on the other hand, can have all the facts and not have a single organizing clue of what to make of them, or how to use them. Cognitively they are nothing but empty suits, in other words -- lights out, nobody home. There's a whole lot of this going around, and just cursing the situation -- or the professional space holders responsible for further accelerating confusion -- isn't going to magically cure anything. Admittedly, the cursing does bring a whole lot of attention to the problem, and that might help over the long run. In that last regard, here's my own take on the roots of the overall confusion: https://larryturner.substack.com/p/cognitive-downsides-of-modern-oral . If this general hypothesis is correct, it's going to take a very long time to pull out of the current cultural nose dive we are in.

=== They deliberately deceived us.

Absolutely false.

They ATTEMPTED to deceive "us" - but they certainly didn't deceive me, so they failed to deceive all of "us".

Obviously I'm assuming that I'm part of "us", although let's be clear: that I am PERFECTLY happy to consider alternative taxonomies - e.g., being excluded from "us" by being cognitively superior to those who [repeatedly] fell for the #OneQuestionIQTest

They "deceived us" for some values of "us" - including but not limited to "us" where "me" ∉"us".

Fuck substack btw.

Their comment mechanism is so unutterably bad, that their data security is shit with Pr →1 - based solely on the unpossiblehood of such shitful hiring beuing confined to a single domain.

Referring to the statement that 2 things are true. It is not true that a virus was circulating, it is a hypothesis. Not even enough evidence for a theory.

I don’t think there ever was a virus but that’s purely intellectual at this point. The very fact that they lied to us all, are still lying, is really the crux of the matter. Such an outlandish and cruel deception has forever changed me. Perhaps that was part of the plan too? To lay utter waste to any respect or trust that WE the people had so that WE become utterly disenchanted.
