2 Corinthians 11:14-15.

This passage used to call to mind, for me, the evil stepmother dressing up in rags and persuading Snow White to eat a poisoned apple or the big bad wolf knocking politely and asking to be granted entrance. Lately, though, evil has begun to look less like the big baddie with the "antagonist" written on his forehead. It's the force that can convince people who want to be good and do right that handing out poisoned apples is virtuous and anyone who questions the poisoned apple is the big, bad wolf.

I had to look up the passage :

"And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve"

I don't think I would put it in religious terms (such as Satan), but it really does look like 'normal' people are being pushed into this quasi-religious ideology of 'Gender'. They're being exploited in the same way that people's fears and desire to do the 'good' thing were exploited during covid, and in the same way that fears and desires to do 'good' are being exploited over 'climate change'.

It is astonishing what horrors can be perpetrated in the name of 'good'.

This all woke thing is just a replay of the communist playbook that was used to control the masses in soviet Russia, mao’s China or any other communist hell holes during last century. That’s what I don’t understand, it’s happened before with the great results we know it had.

Maybe it isn't possible to alter the course of the woke juggernaut and its misguided moral crusaders. In which case executing a strategic retreat from the global tantrum might be the only alternative -- let Mother Nature eventually take care of the problem by her ceaseless imposition of the short and long run negative consequences of adherence to a wholly crappy model of reality.

"How the heck are we going to alter the course of the woke juggernaut and its misguided moral crusaders?"

Easy.

Make sure they are fully up to date with all jabs and boosters.

The rest will sort itself out.

Lesbo says u missed a Y, the 50+ years of endocrine distrupters (read 'gay makers') in everything from our footie pajamas to our formica school desks. Everything. I think back often to the line in the movie The Graduate, "Plastics, son, plastics...". It's clear to me that a big part of the real WHY of effeminant men and masculine women is not simply culture or attitude, it is a physical manifestation of endocrine disrupters disrupting our sexuality, decreasing sperm counts, changing us into a unisex. Lesbo has spoken.

That no-one wants to investigate the effect of estrogen being pumped out into the same water reservoirs drinking water is pumped from tells a lot in the same vein.

The issue is taboo to the point of Holocaust-denial.

Should have clarified: from the various forms of contraceptives and therapies that use estrogen. Waste-water treatment plants aren't equipped to handle it, and even miniscule amounts of hormones canhave a rather large knock-on effect.

If it was kadmium or mercury or dioxin, people would cry out enough to sunder the skies, but since birth control pills is a "right"... silence.

My sister lost her ability to become pregnant from taking birth control pills in the 70's, hysterectomie 15 years later. You're right Rikard, so many factors to make folks sterile. I really didn't think any of this would see the light of day in my lifetime, all the poisoning, with intention. Ignorance of the masses no more I pray.

I'm sorry for your sister, I have an aunt who had to undergo emergency hysterectomy in her youth, before she had had any children. It's not something you speak about for her generation, which seems an unfair double punishment.

As for fertility/sterility, a sedentary lifestyle is real bad for the sperm. Sitting on one's ass in front of a screen atwork, then a different screenathome and inbetween in the car - not good. Too hot, too cramped.

Add stress, the cumulative factors of super-processed food and drink, re-re-re-re-nth power recycled drinking water, fumes and smog and AC-filters looking like they've escaped a Croneberg movie, and...

Small wonder people in the countryside are healthier. Average age in the village near us is above 55, pulled down by a couple of families with young'uns.

But seeing a man of 80+ years wield a chainsaw while lgging or swing an axe, or stalk a moose with a dog straining on the leash is nothing special here.

Old-timers in the city look like crumpled tissues you've used to scoop the grease out of the frying pan with in comparison.

It all adds up, all the knots we make in the thread of the Norns tapestry.

Lesbo raises a very interesting question 😃

That's a really interesting speculation there Jacquelyn. As I understand it, the average level of testosterone in blokes has been significantly reducing over the last few decades (?), for example. I think you're right that this can't possibly be due to 'socialisation'. The most plausible candidate is going to be our diet (or environmental toxins, or both).

I think the answer to your first "Why"--why are colleges mandating a bivalent booster which requires receiving the first 4 shots of gene therapy--is transhumanism. They (the Davos "Masters of the Universe") are experimenting on us, at best. And most definitely not for our benefit, since human rights have been trampled more viciously than Messala at the end of the chariot race in "Ben Hur." The mind recoils when contemplating more sinister reasons why. My mind has been recoiling a lot these last few years.

The United States government, "of the people, by the people, and for the people" has perished from this Earth.

The people wanting to be "seen" as good by the woke mob, need to understand that "being good" is more noble.

The answers, "Why not?" and "Because I want to" can be even scarier.

Rigger.

From the standpoint of " Why" , I agree.

On the point of " Why in physics? As a fellow physicist that's caught the same derision from colleagues ( now mostly deceased from the Vax requirements- thereby reducing the cacophony of said derision)-.

You're on point, and " Why" is an essential operator in the equation.

Well stated friend, well stated indeed.

My view is that this disdain for the 'why' expressed by some physicists is because when QM came along it was too inexplicable in terms of everyday pictures and experience. The adage, which I believe came from Mermin (an utterly brilliant thinker), of "shut up and calculate" seems to have taken rather too much of a hold.
