I claim no superiority to others based upon immutable characteristics. However, at no point did I believe masked were in any way beneficial, and about 3 months into use of the utterly useless vaccines I concluded they were also useless. I am still ungooed and will stay ungooed. And unfortunately I will for the foreseeable future refuse to believe anything I'm told by experts.
Ah yes, I’ve had a lot of fun at the opticians. Navigating endless plastic shields, watching them sanctimoniously throw vast swathes of plastic into the bin at a rate of about one apron and pair of gloves per minute. Spraying the seat with god knows what filthy chemicals after someone had vacated it but not actually cleaning the edges of the seat that every person used to pull themselves in. Watching the horror on everyone’s faces as I boldly walked in without even having a mask on my chin. It was, and still is, the place I hate going to the most as I don’t want anything to do with the utter weirdness that has gone on in there! And yet I have to go because I can’t bloody see. I love your writing, I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: you have played a key part in keeping this middle-aged, very angry woman from losing the plot entirely. It really helps to laugh about the sheer farce of it all. I thank you.
