Are We Ever Going to Reach Nut Zero?

I am probably getting to the point where I need to stop reading things on Substack. Some great writing and insights, but it’s an endless litany of loon they’re talking about. I do it too.

Writers will quote the ‘woke’ and other fruitloops and here’s my reaction to these quotes

What the quote says : cis-heteronormative capitalist patriarchy
What I ‘hear’ : Ding-Spurglefriggative Sploddletwist Arklefunarky

What the quote says : rooted in white supremacy
What I ‘hear’ : Blongleflipped in Nardle Throbbleswitch

Doubtless the original authors of these quotes are trying to communicate something, but it’s just a stream of meaningless gibberish to me. I just switch off and do that thing that is blongleflipped in nardle throbbleswitch; I roll my eyes.

My reaction is kind of like this :

Over the last few days I’ve become aware that “biphobia” is on the rise and that using the word homosexual is homophobic.

I’ll give them one thing - they’re bloody inventive. Yet another couple of things to add to the almost infinite list of Very Bad, No, Really, Awful Trauma-Inducing, Oppressive Things We Need To Be Concerned About™.

We’re already well-acquainted with Horsey McHorseFace, erstwhile Chief Nag of New Zealand, saying that her government was “the single source of truth” - a claim so ludicrous that even Mr Batty McLudicrous of Loonhampton had to give up his position as the world’s foremost idiot.

He is now well down the list as various VIP’s (Very Important Pillocks) open their mouths and spew out a kind of verbal hallucinogen. The “global boiling” comment from the Chief Prat of the UN (United Nutcases) being just one recent prime example.

If I had a dollar for every time I’ve read the comment “when is this going to end?” on Twitter, I’d have more money than dead people in a Neil Ferguson covid prediction¹.

Maybe covid was some kind of dry-run to see just how much dumbfuckery we were prepared to accept. Remember this?

You can see it in his eyes can’t you? That panicked “what the holy fuck am I doing?” look.

We did this. Some people thought this was a good idea. Presumably the same kind of people who hear “global boiling” and don’t giggle, or indulge in a behaviour that is blongleflipped in nardle throbbleswitch.

It isn’t net zero we need to reach, but nut zero.

Except that the real nuts are not the woke weirdos, although they are definitely nuttier than a pecan, but our very own governments and other powerful influential entities.

Of course, the argument could be made that actually those VIP’s are Very Important Psychopaths, rather than Pillocks - they know full well they’re gibbering talkish but are doing it to manipulate and to control.

It is more plausible because it’s hard to conceive of a dumb quite dumb enough that would enable one to actually believe the turgid crapola that issues forth.

I once played a game of Go with a guy who was, I was told, some kind of European champion (no idea if this was true or not). Go is a great game because of the handicap system which allows you to have a meaningful game with players much, much better than you. I started with 9 stones on the board. He wiped me out.

I kind of feel we’re in some game of Go with our governments/elites - except that they’re the ones with 9 stones already on the board - and they’re fucking great players.

They’re rapidly enclosing territory on the Global Go Board, hemming us in, and manoeuvring so that it will become impossible to defend ourselves against the dumbfuckery.

You think that trombone player was an idiot and you posted that on Twitter?

Perhaps you’d like to cool down as we freeze your bank account for a little while?

Two months later :

You’re still posting stuff we don’t like? Tut tut. Let’s see if we can’t turn off your electricity for a bit, or stop you from accessing the internet at all.

It’s all very soft and friendly and nobody gets beaten up or executed - but in many ways, it’s even more brutal. Total subservience and the breaking of our will and capability to resist is the goal here.

And you don’t even need to do this to many people. Just target some high-profile individuals and most everyone will fall into line.

The point is control. Nobody, not even Mr. Batty McLudicrous, thought that the trombone player’s mask was doing anything at all. Not only was there a ruddy great big hole in the mask, but the guy was blowing through a friggin trombone. There isn’t enough stupid in the universe to actually believe there was any health benefit to this.

The whole point was the message, the psychological manipulation.

Nobody is safe until everybody is safe is better translated as :

Nobody is safe until everybody thinks the same way

We’re heading towards a homogenized grey sludge gloop of a world in which all colour has been bleached out by the totalitarian collectivists. It will be humourless, joyless, and bland.

We already saw how neighbour was set against neighbour, husband against wife, parent against children, during covid. Step out of line and you could find yourself ostracized. There are many heart-breaking stories of how families were torn apart, long-standing friendships destroyed, because some/most people believed the nuts in charge.

This will happen more and more frequently from now on as governments and the elites gradually constrain the range of acceptable opinion. This is why they love the ‘woke’ stuff - because it has allowed opinion to be equated with harm.

A transwoman is not a woman, you say? Oh look, another trans person has just offed themselves, you murderous bigot.

Thousands, thousands, millions, no, billions, have been killed by the “anti-vaxxers”. Thousands, thousands, millions, no, billions, are going to be killed by the “climate deniers”. People are being mortally wounded, everywhere, all the time, totally traumatized, by the wrong opinions.

We do need to get closer to nut zero - let’s face it, some of the ‘woke’ stuff is completely off the wall, round the houses, and seventeen times round the cuckoo nest, crazy.

But the real nuts we need to be worried about are our very own governments and the whole network of global corporations and organizations with which they have become so heavily intertwined.
