And, no, I’m not talking about the length of Lia Thomas’ schlong.
I think after the last tin foil hat I put on I still have bits of foil stuck in my hair. I kind of feel, these days, like I’m on some sort of psychedelic without ever having had the, erm, ‘benefit’ of imbibing one of these substances.
I’m not all that good at checking my privilege. It, like my cervix (that men can supposedly have, according to our next likely PM), has proven somewhat difficult to locate.
But I do find myself, increasingly, checking my sanity.
What I struggle with is the explanation for it all. I can’t shake the feeling that something is afoot. It may all be (un)happy coincidence, but it’s just getting too darned weird.
First off, let’s take a peek at a story from the last few days
I really don’t want to go into the details but the gist is that a bunch of men, 9 I think, gang-raped a young woman. Another woman was so angry that 8 of these cockroaches received suspended sentences (Yes. Suspended sentences. What the absolute F?) she insulted them.
The woman who got angry and lost it received a custodial sentence. It was very short (only a couple of days), but even so. First of all you let 8 of these absolute c**ts walk free, and then you jail a woman for getting angry and saying ‘insulting’ things about them.
She was also made to apologize to them.
Excuse me for a moment, I think I’m going to be physically sick.
If you can get your head round this, then please help me out, because I can’t.
We’re often told to be more ‘empathetic’ and ‘compassionate’. Sympathy is relegated to a kind of dirty word - that’s not welcome apparently, being seen as a bit patronizing.
I can’t ‘empathize’ with the young woman who was raped. How the hell could I? I can’t even possibly begin to imagine what she went through, or how she must have felt.
But I’m using the old meaning of the word empathy which is to actually feel what someone else is feeling. These days the word empathy seems to mean some kind of warm fuzzy and vague do-gooderish sentiment of identification with The Oppressed™ and is often coupled with the injunction to ‘be kind’.
Is there any particular reason why one must ‘be kind’ to those 9 men?
OK there’s a caveat. It is rare for headlines to properly reflect the nuances of any story. There is, I assume, more to this story than the headlines suggest. There must, after all, be a reason why 8 of these rapists received suspended sentences. It’s kind of hard to imagine what ‘reasons’ could be used in justification, but we have to remember that things can be presented in a way that is 180° out of phase with the truth1.
What is ‘going on’ with our systems of “justice”?
In the UK we had an asylum seeker who had his case rejected twice, committed a serious sexual offence, and was eventually granted asylum. This delightful individual then went on to throw some corrosive substance in the faces of a woman and her two young children, causing permanent disfigurement.
Why was he still in the country?
Nobody knows2. We seem powerless to eject scum like him3. Thankfully, this walking POS is now dead. He is an ex-parasite and wouldn’t voom if you put 4 million volts through him4.
I like immigration. I think it can bring enormous benefits. But it has to be properly managed and controlled and not some kind of free-for-all.
Then we have the surreal ‘conviction’ of Trump in the US on some utterly bizarre concocted ‘felony’ charges. It’s farcical. It went up the arse of farce and emerged as some new super-variant.
It’s this sense of unreality that I struggle with.
I find myself asking, far too often, “how the hell could that happen?”
It’s not just the growing number of absurd judicial judgments we’re seeing5, but everywhere, it seems.

Fuck me, the list is endless. These are just the ones off the top of my head in the last few minutes. There are sooooooooooo many more.
This is so seriously screwed up it’s hard to believe it’s all just happened naturally and organically.
One or two, maybe a few more, we can explain away.
But so many?
It’s such an assault on so many of our ‘core’ values, seemingly all at once, that it’s hard to see how it has arisen naturally.
This does not mean it did not arise so, but the more it goes on, the more difficulty I’m having in thinking it’s all absolutely expected and normal progression.
It’s like a conjuring trick gone wrong. You know those ones where you pull the tablecloth out from under the dishes and they go everywhere and smash? It’s kind of like that.
Is it any wonder we’re seeing a rise in ‘populism’?8
In the UK lots of people are, somewhat understatedly, a bit fed up. The two main political parties are increasingly being viewed with equal contempt. In just over a week’s time I think we might see quite an upset in the polls as more numbers than expected vote Reform.
I will vote Reform. Not because I think it will make any real difference (even if they win the election - which seems extremely unlikely) but it will indicate the level of anger and disgust at the standard status quo; two cheeks of the same rancid arse to choose from.
Something smells fishier than a 3 -week old haddock these days.
I may just have applied too much tin foil, but we definitely need to foil so many of our current ‘narratives’.
One only has to remember the Covington ‘smirk’ case or, indeed, the whole St Floyd of the Fentanyl thing. In both cases a particular view was presented based on very partial evidence. When fuller video evidence came to light it changed the perspective with both of these cases.
It’s one of those really difficult questions like, you know, what is a woman?
Obviously, and I mean fucking obviously, not all immigrants are like this. Of course they are not. But we should be able to (quickly) eject those who are like this. If you come to the UK to accept our grace and charity and commit a crime, then off you should go. Don’t much care where to - just stay the fuck out of the UK.
I know, I know, I should be more Buddhist and try to understand better. This guy may have had some serious mental health issues etc etc. But, Lord, is it hard to be understanding.
You’re a Jan 6th insurrectionist? 20 years for you, you scumbag. You burned a store down and assaulted people for BLM? Oh, you wonderful person standing up for the Oppressed Things™. Of course we’re not going to prosecute.
Yes, this actually happened. A school in the UK was criticised for being racist because it offered dairy products on the school dinner menu.
This is said to be a Very Bad Thing™ although for the life of me I can’t see why. Lots of people in support of your party is not seen to be ‘populist’, but if lots of people disagree with your party it, somehow, becomes ‘populist’.
Sorry, can't stay coherent on this topic.
Rapists such as these should be crucified alive with eyelids and cheeks and lips cut off, at any border where illegals cross over.
That's the most polite way I can put my feelings and opinions on this matter.
I’m with you, Rigger! I feel like the last four years I’ve been slowly getting sucked into some world-wide brain melting cesspool. And frankly, I’m done even trying to make sense of that which is unexplainable. The Left has played the long game and it is finally coming to fruition. Dumb them down, drug them up, destroy the family, delve into the ludicrous as if it were reality…and now world-wide the bulk of the population are simply brain-dead automatons. Easily controlled. Always fearful. Immature and weak. It’s quite sad.
My husband and I just purchased a small ranch of forty-acres in a very rural area of NE Arizona. We are done trying to live amongst the crazies. Time for some peace as we try and enjoy our “golden years”.
