the revenge of the shape rotators (part 1)

I’m the first to admit I’m more memetard than memelord, but I tried my best with the following graphics for the covid debacle which don’t quite rise to the transformative and shape-rotating heights of malign creativity described by EGM. I don’t have any good graphics programs, have to ‘borrow’ all the images, and have no idea what that cool font is that gets used - and some of the words are not my own (I’m an inveterate borrower), but I hope you enjoy them nonetheless.

Most of the images, produced over the course of the last couple of years, are trying to capture my own sense of sadness, frustration, and anger over the bloody shameful shenanigans governments indulged in, in order to “combat” covid.

It was a real-life horror show that unfolded before our eyes

Government lies and absurdities abounded

The duplicitous messaging surrounding risk and vaccine ‘choice’ were sickening

And we had to say goodbye to science

But I occasionally tried to be positive

But, alas, the pull of The Science™ was very strong

I don’t think I’ll be giving up the day job any time soon
