Say it quickly.
Remember how there were a slew of articles about how white people drinking coffee was another of those racist things we just can’t help doing? Here’s just one example, with the hilarious ‘reasoning’ as follows :
But a wave of Black-owned brands are working to reclaim the Black birthright of coffee. Memphis-based Cxffeeblack put this story smack in the middle of its coffee bags. Text on the back explains how the coffee plant was stolen from Africa by two Dutch spies shortly before the first enslaved Africans arrived in Jamestown, Virginia.
Two Dutch “spies” snuck into Africa and “stole” a plant.
I know this might offend some of my Christian readers but, honestly, I don’t know what else to say, or how to express my incredulity in a more effective way.
And once again they’ve given credit to whitey where none is due; the slaves arriving in Jamestown were not the first. Muslim Arabs had been snatching Africans away and enslaving them for nearly 1,000 years before that, for example. But it’s only really bad, or worth mentioning, when whitey does it, according to the modern ‘progressive’ viewpoint.
Perhaps whitey’s most grievous sin was culturally appropriating the practice of slavery from others.
If you’re anything like me, then you’re going to love your coffee too much, and even if it is deemed to be ‘racist’ to drink the stuff if you don’t have enough melanin to legitimately do so, then we’re just not going to care. It’s a case of for coffee to the woke BS.
But we’ve only just touched on one evil of coffee. Now the WEF folk are saying that drinking coffee causes climate change.
Not only am I a racist, white supremacist, colonialist, benefitting from the white industrial espionage of the Dutch, but I’m also destroying the planet when I drink the stuff (the clip is 41s long).
I think Jesus is going to have to change his middle name, because “fucking” doesn’t really capture the insanity of it all. But it’s probably the best we got.
The coffee that we all drink emits between 15 and 20 tonnes of CO2 per tonne of coffee... Every time we drink coffee, we are basically putting CO2 into the atmosphere
I think there must be a competition to see who can say the most ridiculous thing about the climate. The idiot in charge of the UN really upped the ante with his “global boiling” comments last year - so they’re struggling to come up with something dafter.
Growing stuff is bad. It’s leading to climate disaster.
But, according to The Telegraph, it’s (kind of) OK when big farming conglomerates do it.
I suppose if we all grew our own coffee in our backyards then we’d be putting 75 - 100 tonnes of CO2 (per tonne of coffee produced) into the atmosphere?
Let’s just assume, for one really crazy moment, that we really are heading towards a climate emergency. You’d kind of expect the media to be producing serious articles about it all, wouldn’t you?
Instead we get this crap. It seems purposely designed to be not taken seriously.
It’s getting to the point (and some would say we got there a long time ago) where you don’t even need to spend time trying analyse the delirious vomit that spews from the WEF or the media. Just let them speak in their own words; they’re their own best parody.
This is probably the best way to think of the WEF nutters
"The coffee that we all drink emits between 15 and 20 tonnes of CO2 per tonne of coffee... Every time we drink coffee, we are basically putting CO2 into the atmosphere"
I wonder how much CO2 the Davos attendees pumped into the atmosphere just flying their private jets this past week? These people are some of the biggest hypocrites in the world. Their insanity would be hilarious if it was not so dangerous and unhinged. They are the ultimate control freaks and the very definition of greed. Of course, the object is to divide the populace in any way possible and keep people from seeing clearly that this isn't a race and creed issue, but a 99% vs. .1% issue.
Is that net of the CO2 absorbed by the coffee plants? No idea how much CO2 a coffee plantation requires to produce the beans. A ton of beans must need a lot of coffee bushes. We should probably binge out on greenhouse grown tomatoes - they have CO2 of 4,000 ppm (ie about 10 times the normal atmospheric concentration) so we should be doing something very helpful if we eat more of them.
